O.K. Corral Consultants Program
The Corral Consultants Program
The O.K. Corral Consultants program seeks to unite the strengths of
experienced EAP practitioners and O.K. Corral members in a mentoring
relationship for the benefit of the individuals involved and the fields of equine-
assisted learning and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. This program was created
to give valuable information, advice, and support to current members with
questions about the equine-assisted industry.
In addition to making use of the O.K. Corral office to answer your questions,
we encourage you to get involved in the O.K. Corral Consultants program –
whether you are seeking advice or offering it!
Who is an O.K. Corral Consultant?
Corral Consultants are individuals with equine-assisted experience and
education, as well as the willingness to help others. They are committed to
offering their time and experience to others embarking on an equine-assisted
career, and to providing help on a volunteer basis. The volunteers agree to
consult with members from one to three times, after which a contract may be
made between the parties for further consultation at a rate to be determined by
each individual consultant. (Sample contract forms are available from the O.K.
Corral) O.K. Corral Consultants have been certified by the O.K. Corral Series.
How do I become an O.K. Corral Consultant?
Helping others is easy! Once you have submitted a Consultant Application
Form, we will match you with O.K. Corral members based on your location,
availability, or areas of expertise. For each O.K. Corral member who is referred
to you, we ask for a commitment of three hours total, after which you are free to
charge a fee for your consultation. You have the right to decline new referrals at
any time. You are not obligated to work with any O.K. Corral member, as the
program is voluntary by both parties, and may be discontinued at any time by
one or both parties. To protect your privacy, only O.K. Corral members whom
we refer to you will be given your contact information.

Finding help is easy! Once you have submitted a Consultant Request Form,
we will match you with an O.K. Corral Consultant based on your location,
availability, and areas of need. Your O.K. Corral Consultant has agreed to give
you support and advice in a maximum of three sessions, after which you may
negotiate to pay for further consultation with the individual consultant. You are
not obligated to work with any O.K. Corral Consultant, as the program is
voluntary by both parties, and may be discontinued at any time by one or both
parties. To protect your privacy, only O.K. Corral Consultants whom we refer
you to will be given your contact information.
